Addison Barkman

Addy started dancing at Marquis at the young age of two, and was competing in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, and tap by eight years old. While she loves all dance, she quickly realized that tap was her passion.

Her training as a competitive dancer transformed her love for dance, giving her multiple opportunities to compete in large groups, small groups, trios, and solos. She is proud to represent her studio as a dancer, but even more so as a teacher. When she wasn’t training herself, she could often still be found at the studio assisting teachers in their classes.

One of the things she loves most about dance is the opportunity to share it with younger generations. Addy is beyond excited to continue growing as a teacher and a dancer alongside her students.
