Sage Cournoyer

Sage began dancing at Marquis when she was two years old. At 10, Sage joined the competitive program training in many styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, acro, and tap. At a young age, Sage was also a competitive gymnast but as her love for dance and performing grew, dance became her sole focus.

Sage has participated in many competitions, conventions, and learning opportunities throughout the years. She has been recognized with many scholarships and overall awards both nationally and internationally. In 2018, Sage represented Canada at the IDOs in Poland competing in ballet, jazz, and modern across groups and duets, as well as a soloist. The following year, Sage was part of a group that was invited to travel to New York for a final audition for the very well-known television show, World of Dance. Sage has also taken part in large conventions such as JUMP and Nuvo where she has been singled out and awarded scholarships. Sage is also certified as an Acro teacher through Acrobatic Arts.

Although Sage’s passion for dancing and competing continues, she also enjoys other aspects of dance such as teaching and creating. Sage is eager to share her love for dance with others and help young dancers grow and evolve as artists. Sage is excited to share her passion with her students.
